Many men and a few women have said that at some point one or both parents told them that they were too old to wear anything to bed and had to start sleeping nude. Did that happen to any of you?
As a parent, did you tell your children that they should start sleeping nude?
For me, it was kind of the opposite. My parents were fine with me when I started sleeping nude at age 11. When I went through puberty, I started having wet dreams EVERY night. While waking up with cum on me and the sheets didn't bother me, my mom told me to start wearing underwear so she didn't have to wash the sheets. My dad suggested that I masturbate before going to bed and that stopped the wet dreams. He also told me to use tissues instead of the sheets to clean up the cum. LOL
Sleeping nude is very common in Europe I suspect those suggestions would be other than in the USA as for the most part we are prudes...

Yeah we have done as parents. Not for everyones taste I get that but then we are all different and try to respect others :)There are all kinds of parents - some strictly textile and homophobic, others liberal and scientifically inclined. But as parents if we are uptight about nudism with our children, I think that is a shame.
I wasn't really into nudism when our older son was young. More difficult to spring it on an older child.
My parents never actually told me that I should sleep naked, but they never said not to. I started sleeping nude about 11 or 12, but was hiding it from my parents until one night, I was about 13, and I got up to use the bathroom. I would never get dressed as it wasn't that far to go, but this night as I was coming out of the restroom, my dad was standing waiting for me to come out. I should mention that we only had one bathroom for 5 boys, one girl and mom and dad. I have a lot of stories about that situation for another time. Anyway, as I come out dad is standing by the door waiting and out I come fully naked and half asleep. Well to say the least I was surprised! The two of us, half asleep, standing looking at each other and we are both naked. I don't say a word, but dad smiles and says, sleep good tonight son. Nothing was ever said about the incident until, like one of the other contributors to this thread said, mom wanted to have me be a little careful with the wet dreams. And, she asked me to mention to my brothers. Poor mom, I was the oldest of 5 boys. Now I know why dad always did all the laundry for the boys.
