I Remain Nude When Guests/service P

This group is for ALL fellow nudists whom remain nude, regardless of who visits the home. Personally, I have always remained nude for every guest and visitor to my home, including neighbors, plumbers, cable and telephone techs., Fedex, UPS, food/pizza delivery, and many more. It's every nudists right to be nude when at home. Why cover up? Please feel free to share your experience.

Geek Squad Service Appointment

Return to Discussions

Earlier this week I scheduled a Best Buy Geek Squad appoint to do some work on my iMac. When the Agent (they have badges and everything, they take they're branding seriously) called to let me know he was on the way I told him that we're a nudist household and asked if I needed to dress for the appointment. His reply? "Absolutely not."

When he arrived, I greeted him nude, we shook hands and he got right to work. I let him know that since it's a nudist home, he was also welcomed to be nude if he wanted. He politely declined.

He was great. None of that intense, nervous direct eye contact that you sometimes get from service providers. No issue with a nude man being right next to him when he was explaining things and referencing images on the screen.

Let's see: three Geek Squad agents, two Moxie Pest Control techs, two WOW techs, a pest control salesman, several pizza delivery guys and we also found a naked handyman. Next up is the carpet cleaner. We've used him for years, but this is the first time he's coming over since I became a nudist. I've already had the "I'm a nudist, do I need to dress?" conversation and he said no, that's cool. Then I let him know he, too, could be nude if he wanted. He was surprised at first and then warmed to the idea. I'll let you know what he decides.

A word about the nervous, direct eye contact. A couple of the providers have started with that level of discomfort, but they relax and basically forget I'm nude after a few minutes when they figure out I don't have alternative motives. I love my nudist life.

great job representing the nudist community. I have had my share of being naked with clothed pro visitors and rarely gotten a bad reaction. Got a tech coming tomorrow about my internet service. It is going to be a hot day so very good reason to be bare.

When I have a service person coming over I just hang a small "Nudist" sign on my front door so they know what to expect when I answer. Have had many good experiences with this.

Like NW says, the small "Nudist" sign is a good way to go. If it's a scheduled appointment I always ask the, "do I need to dress" question. Good luck! When you're comfortable, they're usually comfortable. -Scott

Tell us some of your experiences. I'm just a run-of-the-mill nudist guy, you're pretty tall and impressive. I bet you tower over most of the service folks. I know I'd be distracted by your build if I came to your home. - Scott

I like the technique when scheduling declaring I am a nudist, do I need to dress. That and putting a sign out about nudist household to help show legitimacy.
