I Remain Nude When Guests/service P

This group is for ALL fellow nudists whom remain nude, regardless of who visits the home. Personally, I have always remained nude for every guest and visitor to my home, including neighbors, plumbers, cable and telephone techs., Fedex, UPS, food/pizza delivery, and many more. It's every nudists right to be nude when at home. Why cover up? Please feel free to share your experience.

My first bad reaction......

Return to Discussions

I've been answering the door and staying nude for visitors/ delivery men for a good few months now and so far its has been great, very positive and everyone I have greeted at my door as been accepting of my right to be naked in my own home. I do have a sign which is on the front door which states that "I am a naturist and if my nudity offends to let me know andI will put something on".
This morning I had an appointment booked for an installer from a local windowcompany to replace and old wooden patio door with UPVC replacement (I shan't mention the company). I gave him 30 seconds to read the sign before I opened the door nude, I said good morning and he looked at me horrified and said "I am not working here with you walking around like that", I said I was sorry that he was offended by my nudity and said hold on and I will put some shorts on. He waited until I was dressed and then he came in to do the work. He was not a very nice guy, late 40's and I got the distinct impression that if I had been a naked woman, he probably would have been fine but because I am a naked guy he didn't like it! It made me feel very uncomfortable whilst he was here (3 hours in total) and I felt like I had done something really wrong. Although this event made me feel a bit down, I am not going to let it stop me practicing the right to be nude in my home and I shall carry on doing it as the majority of people calling at my house are not offended by simple nudity provided they have some sort of advance warning (front door sign). All the best to you all, Martin.

RE: My first bad reaction......

Naked Greetings Martin! I'm sorry to hear of your bad reaction while answering the door nude. Unfortunately, this does happen from time-to-time, but is certainly the exception, rather than the rule. I do hope this negative experience does not discourage you from living nude, a basic human right you have every reason to exercise! Ironically, I had a negative experience this week, too. Although not as negative as your situation, my visitor would not step into my home, and admitted to being "a little uncomfortable". I, too, have a nudist home sign posted on my front door, and I notified the company, prior to his arrival, concerning my nudism. However, none of this seemed to help, and employee was totally uncomfortable with my nudity, to the point where he could not make eye contact with me while he was giving me a requested quote from his company. Naturally, I've notified the company I will not hire them, and expressed my displeasure with the employee's total disregard and disrespectfor my life-style. Please don't give up Martin! Naked hugs and smiles, Marc

Bad customer service

The guy was totally unprofessional in the way he handled the situation.
I work in a job that requires me to go to people's houses for
repair/installation. I have been in homes that totally disgust me by
the lack of cleanliness. I have not had a naked customer but have had
some with skimpy clothing. Never have I told a customer that they must
take action to avoid me being uncomfortable. If there were ever to come
a time that I had to request a customer to change something to
eliminate my discomfort I would phrase it as a simple unimportant
request. The way he worded it was out of line especially given the
warning sign at your front door.

RE: My first bad reaction......

I agree. I would have told him, well you don't get my business and I will spread the word of your unprofessionalism. Money talks to business owners. I'm sure he would have changed his tune, sooner or later. I have noticed thru my experiences that some men, just say that to make sure it's not a joke or set up. To cover their masculinity, etc. If you call their bluff, most will go ahead with it. Like if the pizza delivery boy, says or acts anything out of the way, I refuse to accept the pizza or pay. They get the hint and know it affects their wallet. So they start acting properly. Keep up your right to be who you want to be in your own home. Don't let anyone especially someone you are paying for a service to dictate how you will act or dress (or not). You are the one hiring them, the boss.

RE: Bad reaction

Hi and thanks for your kind reply and advice. I have certainly not let this one bad reaction put me off enjoying my nude lifestyle at home. I continue to welcome visitors to my home nude and post a sign on the front door just to pre-warn visitors that I will be naked. Of course I will put on shorts if the visitor is that much offended, I want to stay nude but also I don't want to cause offence to anyone. Stay nude everyone!!
