Life And Business Coaching

I'm a coach working mainly with individuals and small business. I work one on one, in small groups and by skype. I would be interested to meet other coaches in this community. I am also delighted to coach anyone who is a naturist and may feel more comfortable talking and working naked. This group is for coaches and for those who may be looking for some coaching in their life and work. Maybe...

Would people feel happier naked when being coached ?

Return to Discussions

I work as a life/business coach. I live part of my life naked. I am, so far, always clothed in sessions by skype or in person with clients. But I wonder whether there are members of TN who are passionate about the naturism in their life, but choose to keep that out of their discussions with a coach. I'd love to understand and hear from people who have had life/business coaches in their day jobs and life, and to understand whether talking with someone who understands the joy of being naked might help.

Do give me your thoughts. If you are a coach professionally I'd love to meet you here on TN. If you know any places where I should be discussing this, do let me know.

Please add your thoughts and join the group.
Cheers

Chris

I've started as a Clothing Optional Life Coach, and had my first couple of skype sessions. Fascinating experience. Felt so natural to be in a similar state of undress as my Client, and to openly talk about issues of gender, identity, sexuality as part of their movement forward in their life/work balance. I look forward to meeting many more around the world. Do message me if you'd like to know more.

Talking to Colleagues I am getting some lovely feedback on the idea "it brings together all the strands of your work and interest, which seems very appropriate for life coaching. I also like how your process and structure is flexible in collaboration with the client I can imagine different people would have different levels of ease at different points in the process, and I was struck by how your first client felt a sense of more freedom to creatively explore the coaching issues when unclothed than they might have done clothed. Most people place so many restrictions on themselves (hence the need for a coach to help see beyond the blind spots) it makes so much sense that removing another restriction (clothes) would only help that process." Unless our certification body (such as international Coaching Federation) has rules in their Code of Conduct, then wouldnt it make sense to let potential coachees know that we are happy to coach naked via Skype or zoom or whatever the platform may be? As coaches, we bring the process to the table but the coachee brings the content and it should be our job to provide a safe, confidential and nurturing environment in which to be coached, while ultimately holding the coachee accountable. Naked, clothed, I think given the nature of this group, it should be our duty to effect client service in the fashion befitting the person being coached.

Nice to see this topic being addressed.

I so agree. It has been a pleasure to meet some people on skype and feel that they are being truly open about their selves.
