Clouds over Wirral
Return to DiscussionsSince retiring to Wallasey 15 years ago, I have noticed that many days begin bright but the clouds move over at 9 am and the remainder of the day is overcast. Not very good for naturists. It often happens on days when (like today) the BBC alleges that it will be/has been sunny everywhere in the UK. A geographer colleague told me it is because Wirral is a peninsula. So I guess other places on the Wirral experience the same. What about the other side of the Mersey? Do you get more sun over there?
