Yep, there's actually two "rooms" with open showers. The first one has 4 shower heads side-by-side along a wall with nothing on the opposing wall. The second one has 6 shower heads laid out in the same fashion: along a wall with nothing on the opposing wall. But the shower heads in this second room don't have hot water so people don't usually use it. I guess cold water doesn't exactly mix well with having your dick out in front of your peers.

These rooms have no doors and are located next to each other, sharing a wall. The wall that separates them is the one that doesn't have any shower heads on either side. The entrances are not in the center of either room's width but rather close together, hugging this dividing wall on both sides. So it almost looks like this wall was built after the fact to separate the 4 hot-and-cold shower heads on one side from the 6 cold-only shower heads on the other side. What I'm saying is, it feels like it was all a single, 10-shower room at some point. I could be wrong though.

I've seen two more of these rooms next to the 6-shower one, but those do have doors and they're always locked with a padlock. They appear to be out of service, or maybe repurposed for storage.

I just wish they'd add hot water to the room with 6 showers, reopen the 2 unavailable rooms, or just install more showers in the hot-water room because we essentially have only 4 working showers and sometimes there's a bit of a line, guys outside and in the shower seeing each other, and it can get awkward. Some people like clinging to the tiniest bit of privacy that is showering with 3 people as opposed to 9 or more, but that's... pointless? Bullshit even? I'd rather shower with 9 guys than wait outside naked and cold or feel a certain pressure -- pun intended -- to wrap up -- this one was accidental in a hurry.

Edit: they reopened so I went over to go back to working out and took some pics. This is the room with 4 shower heads and hot water. It's difficult to capture all 4 in the frame at once.

The Y i used to go to had both open showers w like 4-6 shower heads on a wall and they had a room for the stalls now after i visited it 1.5 yrs ago they turned the open showers into stalled showers which is a bit tight (no pun) to get in n out of but my guess they had to many complaints from the str8 guys that people were looking at em. 1. if they didnt want to be seen naked they could had used the stalled showers, 2. its a mens locker room and if in a open shower its hard (no pun) not to see another man naked or detowel. But more n more open showers are becoming non open showers. Shoot the Y i went into even build a single dressing stall for those men that dont like to undress infront of other men...again its a
M E N S dressing room if they are that homophobic then dont go the the lockerroom where there are men in there
