Return to DiscussionsIn light of Fathers day, lets share some stories of bonding with your Dad. If you never had the chance, what would you have wished?
My bonding experience with Dad, that was some of the earliest memories I have, was swimming nude in the YMCA pool on Saturday mornings. It was early 70's at the time so the memorable occasions didn't last long due to the YMCAs doing away with nude swimming by mid 70s where I grew up.
Great mystery to me. My Dad was 22 years military and an avid sportsman. Obviosly lots of nude time in his life. Even though we were very close and I could not have asked for a better Dad, I never once saw him naked. Odd. I always showered with my 2 sons until they were 8 or so. Also they saw me naked many times walking to bathroom or changing. Unfortunately that is as far as things went due to Mom opposition. Did the best I could manage. But always stay positive.
