Return to DiscussionsIve had experiences hanging out nude with gay and straight people. Its was always pretty chill and everyone had a good time. We are about to move into a new house that has a pool and Im going to make it, at the very least, clothing optional.
I was dog/house sitting last weekend and had two friends over. Naked in the pool, made sure we sent the owner a pic. LOL. One of our straight friends girlfriend came by to pick up another person and she loved that we were all naked. She took the pic too.
For me, naturism is a practice, a philosophy, that does not know orientation, gender, or status. I have had gay and straight naturist friends and what is most important is respect and appreciation of naturism. It's never been an issue. I don't like people who put up walls. Naturism is about reducing walls and separation.

From my experience men have a natural need to be naked with other men. When I did team sports everybody was naked from the moment we entered the changing room, waiting in line if the showers where full was fully naked just chatting. When I was in the army, showers naked offcourse, but hanging in the dorm was done naked by many. I think bonding is easiers when naked as we probably preceive each other as more honnest and perhapse vulnarable. As some said here before, you are not best friends until you have been naked togheter.
I have no problem been naked with gays, bi's, and straights....men and women..I used to go to camp grounds in Kansas that was just men the 2nd week in June from 1996 till 2002.. had spine surgery in 2003 so can't tent camp anymore. Anyway was fun week did all normal fun and chat for a full week just no clothing except shoes. It was nice to seeing 200 naked men having a good time and was cheap. had many nice chats on beach and around camp fires and the other activities there was. Soon as I get a camper want to return guys ranged from 21 to 85 and came from all over mainland USA.

Im straight and I honestly dont care if a guy is straight or gay or whatever inbetween, all just labels to me, I will hang out naked with any. Life is too short to worry if a gay man might like my cock or not! Ha. In fact I sometimes get comments when I'm on cam in here and as long as they're nice comments I enjoy getting them. Why is it that we need to have a label??? We are men, all different and each of us with different needs. Enjoy nudism to what ever level you want, respect those that don't share your level and be happy to be able to be nude. I have guys friends from all different orientations, and I make clear what mine is. If they want to be friends at my level, great, if not, oh well we go on our paths of life. Nudism is about an idea of enjoying life without clothes and anyone can do it. My only gripe is when guys do what is not appropriate for the venue, like here on TN, when they are sexual but refuse to go to a venue where they can do it and it's OK to do, such as TS. For the record, my soul mate and best male friend was male oriented. We shared many hours nude and doing social nudity at many locations. We shared a bondage or brotherhood that I know many guys don't experience as they have this 'thing' about orientation that they can't get past. He and I were to the point that we look at each other and know what each of us was thinking and even smile without saying a word. I lost his a few months back, yes it still hurts and yes I missing him deep in my soul, but I wear proudly his bracelet that says "I am who I am". I may never meet someone like him but I keep my eye out just in case. Take time to rethink your ways, because you just may be missing out on someone special. Final note, we never even considered doing something sexual, it never was a subject between us.
