Return to DiscussionsI had to say goodbye to my 9 year old golden retriever Max a few days ago. He was fine in the evening then could barely stand the next morning. I took him in and he they found a tumor on his heart that was bleeding. I couldn't take him home since it would be a bad passing for him so I had only a short time to be with him. It sucks.

It doesn't get better each time. Our fur buddies are like family.
My sincerest sympathies, I know how you must feel. I lost my Golden Retrieve,r Waffles to cancer 6 years ago and I still tear up at her memory. I've always hoped to be reunited with my pets in the afterlife and if I don't find them wherever I'm going, God better find some other place for me!
