Manscaping & Male Grooming

The modern man should take pride in his appearance. This group is dedicated to educating the modern male nudist on how to tend to such matters as manscaping and general male maintenance. The aim is for this group to be the No. 1 destination for all of your male grooming questions. Come share your hints, tips and how-to's as well as posting your creations. The group is for guys by guys but...

One of my pet hates is guys who have wildly overgrown and out of control armpit hair. It not only looks hideous sticking out from a tee shirt sleeve, but it also hosts sweat odour for hours. You see guys at the gym raise their arms to reveal a dripping wet mop head of pit bush.
I promised that through this group I would help you groom to look your best naked and that's why I have to address this.
I don't advise going for the completely shaved pit unless you are a paid fitness model. It looks feminine and I think us guys should look like guys. I do advocate a trimmed pit, say grade 2 or 3 on a body hair trimmer. Though if you are new to pit trimming, maybe start on a 4 or 5 to see how you get on.
For the more adventurous and/or metro males out there, the latest trend is the single line. This is where you trim back the hair to a grade 2, and then wet shave from the edges to create a single, central line of hair. I have to say that I've seen it on a couple of guys and it looks smart, especially as everywhere else on their body was neatly trimmed too.
I've been sporting the grade 2 trimmed pit for a while but think I'm going to give the central line a go this evening when I do my weekly grooming session. I'll post a pic when it's done to give you something to work with if you want to try it yourselves.

RE: Arm Pits

As requested, I have posted some pics of before, during and after trimming my armpit hair. I already keep mine trimmed so the before and after don't look dramatic but I think you get the idea about how neat they are now. Don't forget to moisturise after you've shaved gents!

RE: Arm Pits

Thanks for sharing. I think once you've gone short or waxed, you keep with it because it does look better. Do you have full BSC wax?
