Return to DiscussionsWell my wife will occasionally go nude around the house if she's about to take a shower I'm not allowed to cause we have 2 girls and she said girls shouldn't be able to see their dad nude they are all girls so it's ok my girls will try to go nude and she'll make them get a shirt on she's ok with me being nude in the bedroom or I can come out when the kids are gone I have been trying to get my wife to go to a nude resort she always says hell no I'm not walking around naked with other people well last September I had to have a pacemaker put in a week before my surgery she said ok let's go so we went for a weekend it was our first time nude around others but she seemed fine with it but kept telling everyone I hate this I'm only here cause he drug me here after we left she said there I let you get this done now never again but know I wanna go more I loved it so here to hoping I can get my no nude wife into nudity
The problem is that it did not have the desired effect on her that it has on some, meaning once they've disrobed and other people have seen her and they've seen others, it normalizes it and enthuses. Too bad! She sounds like she's going to be a hard nudist nut to crack and you need to realize she may never be persuaded to try it again.
I don't want to sound too "judgy"; but this strikes me as a case of "plain and simple" stubbornness.
My wife can be pretty stubborn too. After her first time at a nudist resort, she "downplayed" her experience as having been "not much fun at all." When she had in fact spent most of the day naked, socializing in the pool area; clearly enjoying being naked. So I decided to debate her on what she found objectionable; and she was unable to give me a clear answer, besides "too many naked people." I think she was just trying to curb my enthusiasm, hoping I'd just let it go. Instead of doing that, I offered we visit another bigger resort, where she wouldn't be around "so many naked people." She couldn't find a good argument against it; so we went. Again, she couldn't resist interacting with people; and before long she was naked again in the pool area socializing. Eventually, she (reluctantly) admitted that she did enjoy herself and agreed to pursue social nudity as a recreational activity.
But there are degrees of stubbornness; and sometimes it's just a lost cause. And that can be hard to process.
I managed to get her there to a naturist retreat (I didn't tell her it was naturist until a day before the trip, she was close to pulling the plug on it).
As it turns out, there were no other people staying there during the week that we were there, apart from the naturist owners, who we didn't see a lot of, only when they delivered our meals, and the wife was always clothed.
My wife refused to go nude outside of our accommodation (but did go out on the balcony nude to hang wet towels after our spa or pool swim), preferring to wear swimsuit or nightie on our bush walks or playing darts.
Around home, she can ofter wander downstairs nude, looking for clothes, even if the (adult) children are around, but she won't let me do that!
