THAT IS REMARKABLY TEMPTING!!! The reciprocation offer wouldn't be on par if you take a look at my location, alas....

RE:Key West

hey! wow kinda cool coincidence that I just found out from the boss that I'll be working in Key West in a few months, and then I see this post on here! And just random that I even found this discussion group! :) I won't be down there, though, until sometime this coming February (2023). The job is just for 1 day, but the boss man is wanted to stay a few days, kinda make it a little mini vacation for everyone... since it's Key West! And I've never been!! But it's been on the bucket list for a while!... and here I get to go for free, and even get paid to go! And then I see your post, too! Hmmmm! :) Ok, with that, just thought I'd send you a message and see what I hear back from you. Hope all's well on your end of life!

RE:Key West

Hi,
New to this site, have not been to Key West but looking to in 2023.
I live in the Villages of FL and would take the boat from Ft. Myers to Key West.
Would I need to have a vehicle while there?
Love to get your information on staying at this place, cost and all that kind of thing.
Thanks
Charlie

RE:Key West

My wife and I visited Key West several times during our 11 year cruise on our 42 foot sailing catamaran. Sometimes we anchored (free) and other times we moored to a buoy in mooring field (cheaper but more secure than anchoring). The island is small so you don't need a car unless you want to visit neighboring Keys. The public bus system works quite well. If you have more specific questions, LMK.
