Return to DiscussionsWE are looking for a campground or camping site what would be suitable for clothing optional camping...maybe with water access. Is there a campground, or forest or island location which would be safe for nudists in the northern regions of the lower peninsula, or even the UP of Michigan? Would love to go somewhere to meet others this summer. Jamie
I used to have a place where I camped naked in the UP, but the forest service closed the area to camping and it is day use now. I know of a couple beaches about an hour west of Sault Ste. Marie. They require a good hike or kayaking to get to, but I very rarely have seen people out there so it is pretty safe to go nude.
