My first naked gathering, July 2018
Return to DiscussionsI had my first naked gathering last July, when I invited various area-friends from TN and TS for an afternoon pool party. 5 guys joined me for a naked afternoon in the sunshine. The youngest was 22 years old (very cute) and others 40 - 50's. I think everyone had fun. I had invited women and encouraged the married men to bring their wives if interested, but as it worked out this first pool party was males only.
As a first time event, I knew several but none of them knew each other. The 22 year-old was with a 40 year-old who was not a nudist (though he was there understanding the CO deal, willingly). Another of my guests I had known previously, but he too does not consider himself a nudist. They all arrived at different times, and I had to meet them in the public roadway to tell them where to park. Hence I was dressed in shorts, a shirt, and shoes. After the first 3 arrived (1 nudist, 2 non-nudists) they were outside having just been introduced and were engaging in small talk. I went inside for a minute, wondering in my own mind how we could transition from polite conversation while dressed to becoming naked. It occurred to me that I should take the lead, and the sooner-the-better. Hence, I slipped out of my shorts and shirt and took off my shoes.
Now naked, I opened the door and rejoined my 3 fully-clothed guests - to their (mock) shock at their host suddenly appearing naked! Not surprisingly, the 2 non-nudists were caught the most off balance given their inexperience with casual social nudity. I joined their conversation, explaining that I just wanted to "lead the way" by being the first to undress. I reminded them that I had to listen out for the 2 remaining arrivals and had my shorts handy to greet them at the road. We stood talking for about 10 minutes with ME the only one naked. What was unexpected to me was how much of a TURN ON it was for me to be the only one naked. I was so exposed, and there was a sort of 'power imbalance' in favor of the 3 clothed guys. I was in exhibitionist HEAVEN! I guess this experience was "CM(s)NM".
My hope - of which forming this group here was an important step - is to host future gatherings at my pool this summer featuring social nudity. I sincerely hope there will be women/wives who would entertain the invitation for some naked time in the sun, too. Sounds like you had a great day. I know what you mean about the exhibitionist aspect of nudism. I was at a resort 2 or 3 weeks ago running a nude 5k race. There were several people outside of the border fence on the back stretch of the race just watching all us naked people run by. And I couldn't help but notice several people after the race giving me a good look over. And those were just the ones I noticed. Gives me a thrill.
Let me know if you plan on having any gatherings in 2019. The Newnan area is a bit of a drive for me but if i'm available i'm happy to join.
