About Moon Worshipers

On a recent vacation to Marco Island, Florida, I enjoyed rising early before dawn and walking along the beach. It was still dark enough to assume I was the only person there. There was a waning moon but still just enough light to see where I was going each day(~8 days). From the first day it was evident that the moon has a definite magnitism to it and energy similar to the sun but more subtle. It exhibits this energy by its influence on the tides...More than the cool breeze was causing a tingling down my spine. At the lands end I seemed drawn to the sea and the natural lunar lit landscape to mix with both... So, I stripped off my clothes and waded out into the surf. Adding to this ethereal scene was the phosphoresent plankton sparkling with every gentle splash as I walked deeper. Eventually other walkers came out on the strand and if I thought necessary, I waded out further to waste deep...No need to bring the serenity to an unwanted end. Each day the same people came by about the same time, mostly older vacationers and we began to expect each others passing in the dim light. Most were curious to see someone out in the surf turned to the moon and soaking in its "rays"... Glad to say most would wave in freindly passing but, sadly no one joined in... I am presenting this as a Group/Forum for 2 reasons: Create discussion between people that feel a similar energizing/ draw to the moon and make people aware of a beautiful time of day to get naked outside with reduced risk of getting pinched...!
