Return to DiscussionsI discovered a song a while back that I think done of y'all might enjoy. (Hopefully it's okay to post recommendations here. Didn't see a group specifically for that.)
The song is called Birthday Suit and it's by a band called Hey Steve. It probably falls into the indie/pop or indie/rock genres. It's an upbeat song that is perfect for dancing to.
The lyrics song about getting naked and feeling free without the constants of clothing. (As for what the song is actually about, I don't know. I'm just understanding it by what the lyrics say.)
Some of the lyrics:
"Take it off, Take it off/Ain't nothing stopping you/Get on down to your birthday suit
Oooh, don't it feel so free/Nature's knows how it's supposed to be/And the good Lord knows there's no clothes on the birds and bees"
It has a fun mid 90's vibe to it. To me, it speaks more about growing up into society and forgetting the innocence and pure joy of the human experience we had as children. Maybe that's a bit deeper than what the song meant, but whatever. Looking through the channel, I see he recently did a song with GWAR, too! Thanks for directing me to that channel!
