Naked From The Waist Down

I guess that most of us, like me, prefer to be totally naked for most of the time, without a stitch of clothing covering our bodies. But, especially in the winter time, sometimes it can be warmer to put on a t shirt or vest to keep the body's core warm. When I do this I still like the feeling of being naked from the waist down, so at least part of me is still free, exposed, and the way nature...

Discretion... question

Return to Discussions

A fair number of times when at home, I've gone bottomless but worn a shirt because, since we have no drapes on the 1st floor of our house and have nearby neighbours, if I have a top on, neighbours can't see below the windowsill to know that I'm bottomless. I should add that there is a hill on the front of our house, so our windows are 10 - 20 feet above street level on that side, and the back of our house faces our back yard, with a steep hill below it with a city park forestbelow it, so our neighbours there have only a slantwise view from their back yard.Is discretion a factor in your going bottomless but not topless?

RE: Discretion... question

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. If it feels a little chilly in my
house I sometimes throw a short or long sleeve t-shirt on and go
bottomless. Occasionally I will wear socks for the same reason. But
I also often leave my shades up at night so sometimes I put a
tshirt on. My window sills are low enough and I am tall enough that
anybody looking directly in as I walk around would easily see I am
naked from the waist down, but the shirt makes me look at a quick
glance like I am not naked. It provides a way for me to feel naked
but to not draw attention through windows with my lights on.

RE: Discretion... question

More times than I would like, from Autumn (fall) through to spring, I need to wear a t'shirt or long sleeve jumperor similar plus sox/socks to keep warm. I prefer whenever possible to have heating on or an open fire and be nude. I have semi sheer blinds so that during the day, people cannot see in but I can see out into the park opposite or my garden. Often, I now go and pick up the morning paper either nude or bottomless (Donald ducking?), as I notice cars driving past or the occasional walker, seldom look my way!

I do wear a T-shirt in the cold months so that I can still feel naked but not be too cold. It also helps that my windows aren't real low, so having a shirt on makes it look like I'm dressed since I don't want to get arrested for flashing any nosey neighbors! There should be a law that if someone looks into your windows that they can't complain about the occupant being naked in the privacy of their home! It is too bad we nudists have to be so careful! I'm not out about being a gay nudist, so I have to be very, very careful.

It seems that you are modest about your chest being exposed,
because you have already established that no one can see that you
are bottomless. It is your call whether you feel it is more
discreet not to show your bare chest. My guess is that most men on here
would wear a top in their own home mostly because they are cold but
they are otherwise nude if nobody can tell that they are
bottomless. At least that is true for me. But if I answer the door
to a stranger I I would probably put on a top as well as a bottom,
that is my sense of discretion.

Wearing a shirt, or in our house more often a hoodie, is about staying warm in the cool months or hours of the night. My sons often put on a hoodie in the morning while they waited to go out, delaying the need to get fully dressed.
