Irish Naturist Association

Return to Discussions

Hello all, i was wondering how many single fellas on here are members of the irish naturist association?. I'm wondering if it's worthwhile becoming a member of the organisation. I was once a member and all i got out of it was an A5 paper mag about four times or so. I'm not sure exactly how many issues of the mag i got. I'm considering applying to become a member again but the 55 euros fee sounds outrageous to me. I lived over in Edinburgh for a good while and i've gotten more out of my membership of british naturism. Ireland and the INA have a long way to go if we are ever to be on the same level as our european counterparts.
I was chatting with someone else on here and they said our national association can be discriminatory against single males. I find the idea that that could be the case offensive. However i have not heard of any single fellas being discriminated against in Ireland. Maybe it would be worth trying to get involved and help improve things for the benefit of all especially us genuine fellas.

RE: Irish Naturist Association

I meant that i would find the idea that our national association would discriminate against single lads like myself quite annoying. I have to say that i havenot yet personally heard or seen any credible evidence of any form of discrimination against any single male naturists in Ireland. Also i'm not here to cause offence or to discredit the irish naturist association in any way.
I am a little disappointed that the two naturist clubs in Ireland that i am aware of do not have any vacancies for single male members. I know of clubs in the UK that do allow some genuine single men to become members and others have membership quotas for single lads. I hope that one day those clubs will change their policy towards single men, after all naturism is for everyone right?.
