In the comic strip Luann, one of the character just came out as a nudist. Although, it adds to the confusion between naturalist and naturist. I wonder if it was an editor that changed that? The link below is for the strip a few days ago. In todays strip she calls herself a nudist. I am not sure if this is good or bad for normalizing nudity. I think its good. It puts it in a media hat many people read for fun a relaxation,mor brighten the day as you say. Plus it doesnt put it in a negative light, instead just saying its something normal that people can talk about and not be ashamed of.

One of my fantasies has always been watching an episode of a situation comedy like "Big Bang Theory" or "Dick Van Dyke" or "Seinfeld" which is exactly like every other episode in terms of plot and humor, but where the entire cast is nude. No more sex than you'd see in any other of those shows, but no clothes to be seen, either.

It's to bad the nudist storyline faded away. Maybe it will come up again.
