Return to DiscussionsWent to deep creek near Hesperia, ca, Saturday. From bowen ranch ($5 per person day use) my choice as a starting point, it is 2 miles into the valley where the hot springs are. There is an elevation change of 978 feet down. Most in the last 1/2 mile or so. Great day. I have been doing better on my returns upwards and out. For most it takes about an hour and a half. Me, I am down to two hours. Steady improvement on each trip, yea. And if desired, like my friends and me, you can hike nude from the parking area to the springs and back.
Depending on how you drive this can be a truly nude day except for the fee drop. Enjoy.
I discovered Deep Creek Hot Springs about 10 years ago and did my first naked hike while visiting the hot springs. Have hiked naked on the Trail from Bowens Ranch and from the Bradford ridge trail, totally enjoyed spending the day naked. It was fun sharing my nudist experience with other nudist at the hot springs. Have not been for awhile due to safety concerns of hiking naked alone due to the remoteness and the terrain of the area.
It has been a few years now but I used to go to Deep Creek on a regular bases.
Like nudeyrudy I would drive there nude and put on shorts to pay the entrance fee and then remove them again as soon as I got back in the car.
I really hated having to do this so one day I talked to Mike if he would have a problem if I was nude while filing out the envelope and paying the entrance fee. He replied that as long as no one complained it was fine with him.
From that time on I have always stayed nude. Sometimes there were no other cars there at the same time but there were also been several times when there was a long line of cars and my nudity never seemed to bother anyone. Since most people who go there know they are likely to encounter nudity at the Hot Springs, I guess seeing someone nude elsewhere is not that big a deal.
