Return to DiscussionsI usually hike on forest service land. Look for hunter camps that don't get any traffic except during hunting season. Rest of the year they don't get any traffic. Have yet to come across others. Just me and my dog. I am in Northeast Texas.
Theres some places up in the panhandle if you dont mind being off a trail. Palo duro canyon, Caprock canyon, Lake Meredith. I hike nude there relatively often and have never had an issue. I do stay away from established trails and hit the backcountry though.
