I went to a local park to prepare for backpacking in Colorado in a few weeks. I got to the park in the late afternoon. I had my shorts, huarache sandals, and a Camelback hydration bladder. I started along the lakeshore skirting the campgrounds and circled back to the trailhead. A Thursday at the park was great because, though the campground was mostly full, I saw nobody on the bike paths or trails. The trailhead has two parking lots that were empty.

So once I got into the tree line, I took off my shorts. I hung them on one of my backpack straps. I saw lots of deer, raccoons, and herons. Despite lots of recent rains, the trails were fairly dry. But my feet still got wet due to high humidity. I ended up with 7 miles. I didnt slip my shorts back on until the trailhead.

I wore a thong at my campsite even though a few people came close. But it was hot out and I thought they would understand. Then went fully nude once it got dark. I didnt put clothes on again until I got to town the next day.

The next morning, I drove to the trailhead since I couldnt walk the roads Nude. I ended up doing the same trail. The same houseboat I saw the day before was still on the water. But nobody was up. I didnt really care if they saw me anyway. I got to where there were several loops and left my hydration pack at the fork in the trail. So I was totally free without clothes for several miles. I snapped a few pics when I got to my car. I drove into the next town and finally put on clothes to get coffee and breakfast. Good times!
