I understand where most of you are coming, my wife is not into the life style, she does let me go into it more as we got older. When we first met and I explained to her that I was a nudist and thought about joining in. Then she took one look at all the skinny nudist ladies and said guys would take one look at her and laugh or stare. Since than she has refused to be part of the life style and she is OK with me doing as long as I do not push it onto her. We are not allowing our son to get to involved at this time.
He has seen us both nude and is OK with it. When mommy is away daddy lets him go nude until bedtime. When he gets older and understands more we will let him do it more
So guys, if you have to hide your nudism from your wife, girlfriend or your partner, I hope that one day you can explain to them it is not about sex it is the freedom to be without clothing.
To me, we are all beautiful! No matter what shape, size, or color each person is God made us in his Image, be proud of who you are and how God made You.!!!

My wife is not into nudism either, but she knows I like to be nude and she is fine with it as long as only the two of us are home.
She doesn't like the beach so I would usually be going without her no matter where I go.
While I have told her that I go to the nude beach at times, I don't mention it every time I go and I suspect that she is not aware that I go there more than everywhere else combined if i am going alone .

It is sad our culture and society has given so many people issues with their bodies. Far too many will never take the opportunity to enjoy the sensation of being clothes free. I know people in their 70s who still live their lives based upon what they think other folks think of them. They never really live for themselves.

My wife enjoys the beach, but will not go to a nude beach, so if we go together im wearing swim trunks at a purely textile beach, but she knows that every time i go to the beach alone, im at a nude beach, and if she is leaving me free for a weekend day, she always asks if ill be going to the beach, and of course the answer is always yes!
In the same boat here. My wife doesn't participate but doesn't mind that I do. She actually turned me onto an article in Time Magazine years ago about a website called Skinbook. It know longer exists. That's how I ended up on this site. She knows when I go to the nude beach or resort. We are currently looking for a new house and she knows privacy is a big factor for me. We both work from home and right now she is in her office next to mine and I am nude typing this.
Kind of same here with my partner and I. He knew going into our relationship that I am very much into the nudism life style. While he was not, he was also on the fence about trying it. I was successful in getting him to Haulover on vacation down here one time. Ended up having a bad experience with once a few judgmental and vocal snobs and an incident with a strange dude in the lurch. Part of it was his comfortability and need to be a bit away from folks (safety in numbers to avoid weirdo's). Needless to say that turned him off.
Since the vacation incident, we have moved and settled down here in Fort Lauderdale. As many homes in the area, we have a pool at the house and he has gotten to where he will give up his trunks in the water and towel off after getting out. I still go to Haulover alone and I don't hide it from my partner that I am going or have stopped over to catch ray's and beach air. Would be nice to have him tag along. I am hopeful he will and even to make a few friends to connect with that are about the clothes free lifestyle not the judgement or sex.
Its nice to know there are folks that are in the same situation where the other half is not into the lifestyle and don't try and suppress the it. I am a firm believer that its a lifestyle that builds a strong foundation for growing personalities and confidence. Too many people have hang ups with body and self image issues with all of the coverup and body secrecy. I have noticed a difference in the level of confidence and self security between folks my age and the youth of today living fearful of being seen naked.
I have had a chance to experience Germany and other parts of Europe they have a different view of nudism. Going swimming or hitting the sauna there is not cover up, nor is there a taboo about it. Nudism is a common routine in some situations as say brushing your teeth. Folks that are like that seem to be more confident.
As for me, I have been running around nude since I was 2 years of age long ago. My parents while of the textile mind set could not keep clothes on me. Nothing has changed over the years. I feel I have a strong personality, a bit more outgoing and have gone a long way in my career being a nudist. I don't have "reservations" about anything situationally that is presented. I just deal not living with any fears. Might just be me.
Do any of you guys notice differences in self confidence attributed nudism acceptance?
My wife thinks my desire of nudity is disgusting. We have been married for 46 years. It's funny how me being nude in my apartment was just fine when we were dating. She was 17 and I was 20.I've since then always comprised, only getting naked when she's not around. She accepts it as long as I have on just a t-shirt! What difference does that make?When I'm nude alone I can be in my backyard sunning on the deck or in my garage puttering or having morning coffee outside. I just wish she could enjoy that time with me.

I only wear a shirt for special company, not frequent visitors or our grandon. This year, she even said I can swim and sun nude in the back yard when she has company in the house as long as I close the back curtains, but I haven't had the opportunity to do so yet.

My wife is having two of her frequent visitors over tomorrow. I mentioned to her that I would close the back curtains and be nude on the deck and possibly in the pool like she said was OK with her. She has no memory of saying so and doesn't want me to so I will comply rather than create a problem.
I had a wonderful day. The wife was out of town so I had my morning coffee, laid out nude on the deck until it got too hot then worked in the garage naked on my hobbies well into the afternoon until the heat was just unbearable even with the floor fan at high speed. Then I moved down to the basement and puttered in my shop as I did the laundry. All in all I was free of clothes from 10 am until 5 pm. :D
Then your wife does not like you to be nude around the house and yard when she is home?
How about sleeping?
