Return to DiscussionsI think this is a topic a lot of guys here can relate to. I'm happily married but my wife doesn't share in my love of being nude. Her view of nudism is one of a sexual nature and she's quite body conscious. I'm open to contact from all regardless of race, preference, gender or marital status for platonic friendship.
Hey I totally understand... My ex gf hated naturism and I had to get dressed before she got home so I'm glad she's gone now so I can be myself again. I think the TV and mags put a lot of pressure on women to always look 110% and guys are more relaxed about their bodies.
My ex wife felt the same way about nudism so I took it upon myself to see if what she was saying about social nudism was right. I joined a nudist club here in town and found the other members to be kind and thoughtful people who acted just like my textile friends only difference being they like me enjoyed being naked. I visited Turtle Lake resort by myself for 5 months. Although it was an exhilarating experience being naked around all the other nudists their I couldnt help but feel how much enjoyable it would be to have a nudist female companion with me while there. Fortunately I found Diane who was living in Oklahoma through the Turtle Lake Facebook page months later.
My wife is rarely nude, even when we are home alone, or even when sleeping.
She is fine with me being nude in the house and inside the privacy fence around the pool and deck.
Doesn't want me to drive nude.
Since she doesn't like the beach and I do, I usually go to the clothing optional one.
She wouldn't go to a clothing optional resort because she doesn't want to see people nude other than me.
I spent an afternoon at one once when I had a morning event nearby.
Wouldn't want to go overnight without her.
I was in the same boat as you guys. She said that its just sex. But it took time and believing in herself.
The way the ads on TV show women, as 16 to 20 years old. Is fine but you will hardly ever see that at a resort or the beach. Even those girls do not believe in them selves.
You know what is beautiful on a woman or a man ?
A Smile, a simple Smile. :-) once you start to see everyone laughing and enjoying being naked. Oh so great.
But are there people who are going for a chance to see someone naked in a sexual way. Yes there is !
But thats in the textile world also.
Thats why the resorts were created. Safe places for nudist to enjoy life. Oh and beaches, well that is just a great place to go with out those stupid swimming suits.

Was married twice. First wife died. Second wife divorced me.
Neither was a nudist. The first one was the perfect example of a textile. She was nude for bathing and sex, and was dressed immediately following those activities. The second one slept nude. She would rarely walk nude through the house. Accompanied me to a clothing-optional beach once -- but remained fully clothed.
However, neither one was at all bothered by my nudity. Neither one cared that I enjoyed clothing-optional beaches.
I think can relate to this in part. Wife happily joins me at nudist resorts and on beaches when we're abroad but rarely naked as much as me when we're at home. She sleeps nude and happy to stroll around naked while we're showering and getting dressed etc. During the day (at weekends) she's always without a bra and when it's warm is happy in fairly skimpy clothing which shows of her cute boobs and nipples. Just need to convince her to strip off when we're alone in the evening - working on it!
A healthy relationship requires each partner to have their own time away. Many non nudist guys have their 'me time' at sports venues with their mates or at the 'local' having a pint. My wife is NOT a nudist and is only nude IN THE SHOWER. I, on the other hand LOVE getting naked with others at a nude resort. beach or a sauna. I consider my nude time as my ME time
How does she feel about you being nude at home?
When my wife first met me I was the only nude person at an apartment pool party.There were close to fifty people there.Next time we met at a busy restaurant she asked me about the open nudity. I told her I was an exhibitionist in the extreme. Told her I only wear clothes to not offend, avoid arrest and to stay warm.We dated a year then got married. That was along time ago.She still lives in clothes and I live nude.All of her textile friends had to get used to me.
Is she nude around the house when only the 2 of you are home?
