Return to DiscussionsWhen we starded be together 30 years ago we both had no issues about nudity. We were hanging around naked mainly at home inside or by the pool in summer.
Time made its work, 2 kids now grown up, our bodies are not as shaped as its used to be.
We are healthy mid 50's couple but now nudity is a problem for her.
Trying to get her on naturist beaches is a hard topic.
Even the idea is rejected.
Hanging around naked out of the bathroom cannot be for her, just like sleeping naked in summer.
I need to find moments for me.
So now I have to travel on my own to be able to enjoy being naked on the beach or by the pool.
It's a shame....

Do you have a back yard pool?
My wife is fine with me being nude at home even though she rarely is.
I am going to take a shot at this... As a medical professional and I am keeping in mind you have provided no medical history my guess is that with you stating you are mid 50's she could be experiencing hormonal changes associated with menopause. So many things change temporarily during "The Change". Open discussion to see if this is the case and I would address your concerns that you do not understand why she no longer enjoys naked recreation. Just keep in mind she may be confused too as to why she has nudity issues when in the past she did not. Best of luck!

Menopause is not pleasant for anyone including the ones they love. Best of luck my friend.
My wife has beaved in same way. She says she has body issues. Though she has been to the nude beach with me before. I do agree it comes down to aging. She does encourage my nudity, at home and at beach. So i consider myself foretunate.
I been a nudist most my life, mid high school. Have sleeper nude, gave kid bath together nude. Wife goes in fazies if kids are not home. Yet sometimes she be getting ready the shower and won't dare come out to get a towel in the hall closet, but ok for me to walk around naked to get it for her. Her body has change so being BBW now and not her skinny frame may have a lot to do with it.
Me on the other hand after being over weight , started taking better care of myself more for health reasons. No offence on over weight people.
