Return to DiscussionsAs a male do like the idea that all boys and men should swim or spend time naked in the water. Was not raised that way but wish I was. The old Y.M.C.A way when it was male only. Other country's boys swim nude without a care wish we could and not have to hide it.

Other country's boys swim nude without a care wish we could and not have to hide it.i grew up in the midwest 1960s-70s with nude swimming at Y (including swim team practice, and swimming lessons -- swimming teachers and coaches were older boys or college students -- also nude), at camp, at school phys ed pool class jr high thru high school. after-school scuba classes were suit optional -- eventually every boy opted for no suit. skinny dipping for boys de riguer at local abandoned flooded rock quarry. nude swimming was presumed to be the best way, so it was the default for boys if only males were around. it was a good time to grow up . . . :o)
