Return to DiscussionsFor the second time in a week were under a tornado watch. While its nice to have a nice cool breeze while naked at a resort, winds exceeding 50 mph would be a bit too much. Hopefully none of our resorts in the NW part of our state will be affected by these storms. A few years ago while at Turtle Lake in southern Michigan we discovered the tree that we always parked nearby had been blown over and removed. Best wishes to those who camp at resorts during times like this.
Like other natural disasters such as floods, droughts, forest fires, bomb cyclone blizzards and hurricanes, tornadoes in this warmed climate are becoming more frequent and more destrutive. May God help us to help ourselves return to good stewardship of this beautiful planet.
