Naked Peak Bagging
Return to DiscussionsFor several years now it has been on my bucket list to bag a 12,000 ft+ peak naked. I have had a couple of failed attempts. Today Kodou2020 and myself bagged a 13,100 foot peak all naked except near the road where we parked. It was a little chilly when we started out and hazy from the wildfire smoke, but overall a really good hike. And no sunburn. Anyone else done this, or wants to try it?
Congrats guys! That sounds like a fun trip. I would love to do that some day.
If people are interested we could bag a peak every year or something. It is quite possible so long as you stick to the uninteresting 13ers, but they can be just as challenging. I'll post a picture from the summit on my profile tomorrow.
