When I was 4 my Mother asked me why I wanted to wear my socks to bed. I said it was because my toe nails got caught on the sheets. She got out the nail trimmers and I wore socks that night as usual.
Been doing it ever since! No cold feet here....;) it simply feels great and because of a restless legs problem I occasionally wear thigh high compression socks. Recently I received a pair that were black and after putting them on I was comfortable, and in my nudist way with these things on, I thought I looked damn good for a guy wearing what appears to be stockings. Quite by accident I posted a picture of myself with the socks on and got hundreds of likes and many compliments, and several outright invitations for sex! I'm not confused about gender issues. I'm a guy with good legs from swimming and wear them to help move co2 out of my muscles and relieve restless legs. I will post a pic with them and all sock lovers are encouraged to share their thoughts on this.
