People That Are Open About The Fact
This group is for people that are open to others about the fact they enjoy the nudist way of living. They dont have to actually live in a nudist (or clothing optional) community but they are not ashamed to tell others that they are nudists Let's discuss how you have told your friends and family. Did you come from a nudist family? What was your first time experience like? When you did disclose...
Nudist Family
Return to DiscussionsI see nudism largely as an attitude. If you put rules around, as with anything, it can be constraining.
First, "nudism with a face" works in societies that don't equate nakedness with sexuality. People working in schools, religion, politics and other places with a public face shouldn't have to risk their livelihood.
Second, family nudism, like most things, works with a combination of routine and spontaneity. If you have family-friendly public nudist places nearby, kids will accept public nudity as normal. If you live in a more Puritanical area (such as here in the US Midwest with no nude beaches) and don't have private naked space outside of your four walls, your children will likely consider nudism awkward.
On top of that, if your local nudist resorts are not family-friendly, your kids will likely associate nudism with discrimination and inequality and shy away from any association with it. Our local resorts require a female guardian for children or a female escort for men, barring single or gay dads. Even if you are married to a woman nudist, you have to choose what value systems you support as a parent, including in nudism.
