Photographers

For nudists who like taking photos. For beginners and experts. No experience necessary. If you are curious, have just bought a camera and would like to know more... step on in... Nerds and photo-geeks are also welcome. If you have a darkroom or work in Black and White you have a home here. If you think that autofocus is the tool of the devil, you will not be mocked.

Personally I always preferred using either natural lighting outdoors or indoors during the day, and whatever is available for lighting indoors at night. There's just something cool about the warm glow of incandescent bulbs. The new LEDs are good as well so long as I'm using the warmer toned ones. Sometimes whatever I can't accomplish through lighting I can always fix in Photoscape. LOL

RE:Lighting

Natural or existing light can look beautiful and I like to use it when I can, but having lights I can control is very important to getting the look I want in an image. Sometimes natural light just doesn't land where I want it and I want to do better for the picture. Lighting is a very big part of the process for me.

I agree, artificial light for me is a part of the skill and the challenge to create artistic images.

RE:Lighting

I use natural light whenever possible and sometimes add the odd white cloth reflector if need or use it to defuse the natural light, glad is too hard a lift unless bounced into the subject
