Ive been a couple of times in the last month. I wouldnt consider myself an expert or regular there by any means but here are my observations.
Enter off of cave landing rd. When you get down there the beach is almost split in half by a rocky outcrop in the middle of the beach. The North end looks like the college party crowd with the occasional topless girl wearing a thong. Go past the rocks in the middle of the beach the south half and almost everyone is nude. Single women, men and couples. Everyone down there pretty much keeps to themselves but they are friendly and will say hello if you say whats up. It can get a little crowded if the tide is high but find a little spot to throw your stuff down and nobody seems to mind.
So far my experience there has been positive and everyone there seems accepting and just wants to chill out naked and enjoy the beach and scenery.

Ive had similar experiences as Firefightercpl - usually very nice people but the beach around the outcrop from the trail tends to be more quiet.
