Why do people who report seeing apparitions always seem to have them wearing "period" clothes? Are Ghosts real?

RE: Paranormal Activity

i think so. i used to be iffy about it. but My friend (Nick) went on a LDS mission to Arizona and some of the stories he had were way scary. when ppl on tv and what not would tell their story. i usually wouldnt take it very seriously bc i thought theyre just making it up for the attention. but Nick is lagit. i know he wouldnt make anything like that up. plus the look on his face said it all. i bet he probably had to change his pants afterwards lol. but yeah he really doesnt like to talk about it but ill see if i can convince him to share his stories for ya. oh yeah i see you live in Arizona. maybe one of his experiences was from a house near yours :s

RE: Paranormal Activity

Not going to say that I believe in Ghosts, but I grew up in a house, where a previous owner had died..Not only myself, but at least three other people had seen an apparition in the house...

RE: Paranormal Activity

I was hoping for more responses by now but: Mine was from 1984 to 1992. Lived in Palm Desert, Calif (Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, PALM SPRINGS). Was a 2 B/R 2 Bath garden apartment. Partner was a cat rescuer. Neighborhood didn't have any stray cats, they were all at our place. In 1984, being a well organized and multi-tasking type person, I had a dish near the front door I would lay my car keys in, without fail! They started to disappear from the dish and on at least two occasions were found in the freezer in the kitchen. I have never done drugs, was a weekend drinker, and ran a business out of the apartment, so little time for tom foolery. Partner was an artist, and although not as organized, had little to no sense of humor. Usually it was my things that were moved, but his clothes started moving around on their own as well. Then it was food. Him, being a gourmet cook (from Kentucky), would take a roast out of the freezer to thaw, only to find it back in the freezer when he got home from work, and I wasn't even there all day (that time). We didn't even count those things as paranormal, just wierd. Then during the Christmas Holidays of 1984, we had a battery operated train going 'round the tree. Puffed smoke, and toot-tooted. After going to bed and shutting all lights off, we were awakened a few hours later by the toot-tooting of the train. Found it going round and round. Shut it off. Next night, same thing. Next night same thing again, but after shutting if off twice, took out the batteries (we thought the cats had something to do with it somehow). Two hours later, Toot-Toot! Train was going round and round, smoke puffing, and headlight burning. As I had checked to see if the batteries were where I placed them and they were, grabbed the Video-Camera and took pics as David picked up the train, turned it over, and opened the battery compartment. It was empty, and recorded. Put the train back in its box. There are 8 more years of "spirit' experiences, that I'll add later. But that night, I started to believe that we weren't alone in that apartment.
