good question. it is actually a vegitable technically speaking. that is if your refering to achieve a psychotic high. since it is the buttons of the cactus that are used to do so. the buttons not containing the seeds of the plant would technically be clasified under vegitable if ingeatested.

Thanks! Never though I would get an answer. I just start asking all the random questions that have been bothering me, but was too lazy to look up.

agree, it's not the fruit or seeded flowering part of the plant, so it must be vege material. Go vegan, live longer, on peyote!! Now to solve the mystery of psylocibin mushrooms...Back in the day I liked my psylocib mushrooms boiled down into a tea mixed with Hawaiian Punchor even served on pizza. But you were going to throw up regardless of how they were prepared before seeing the music and hearing the colors.
