For those that use creams - which one and how effective is it?

I've tried shaving but switched to creams when I found that they'd last longer (once a week).
Problem is that I'm never as satisfied as when I shave. There's always some stubble left.
I've tried different creams: BallsBalm (burns easily), NoHairCrew (works reasonably well but the dispenser is crap! - keeps getting stuck), and Barenuts (the latest I'm using, from Austraila apparently, and the one I can leave on the longest BUt it still leaves hair behind).
So in short none are 100% satisfactory.
Might try Veet next but not sure which one - they seem to have so many different ones.
Thoughts/suggestions?
