My boyfriend has been shaving for 30yrs and in the last 6 mounths his pubic is getting very course. He is thinking of getting his hair permantly removed by lazer. Dose anyone know if it works as good as they say it dose?

I've been looking into it to. I'm looking into the Tria laser hair removal. It's something you can do at home whenever it's convenient. All laser systems require follow up sessions, so the $300 price tag appears to be a bargain. All indications are that it's as effective on the scrotum/shaft as anywhere else. Skin type and hair color are a concern which should be looked into.

The hair must be dark. If it has changed to a lighter color or grey/white it will not work.

I tried a laser treatment one time, and wish I hadn't wasted the almost $400. I have very light-colored hair, and the laser really isn't effective. It was a waste of money I didn't have to waste. Good for some people, but not all.
