Wax, blade, or chemicals

I Was wondering what peoples preferences are for hair remover. Ive been grooming down there for as long as I can remember. I guess I heard the joke referencing a button on a fur coat at a young age and figured that I shout keep that coat trimmed. Over time it got shorter and shorter. (The fur on the coat not the button). When I finally shaved it I was hooked. I definitely like smooth. The look. The feel. I think it looks great on everyone.
I have done laser treatment so it doesnt grow back as fast or very thick. Now I prefer the results of a good wax. It feels the best initially and feels better for the longest time. The only downside is that you have to let it grow back long enough for the wax to grab. And I love smooth! So thats a big downside. A fresh blade is pretty quick and easy. Its not as smooth and the stubble soon shows up. That brings me to a third option. Chemicals. It seems to remove hair just a little bit more than a blade. It feels almost as smooth as wax. However it certainly doesnt last as long. However, I dont have to grow my hair out. The worst thing is that Im putting chemicals on my skin! Here is a fresh result. Can you tell which method I used?
Whats your preference?

Your picture looks good! I'm a shaver and it does have drawbacks. My take on the subject is to get a good quality electric (I'm a Braun man for 18 years) and use a different head when working on my lower fuzzies. Keeping my newest shave head for my head (face) makes it last for a good amount of months, usually well over a year. I keep both myself and my sweetie's slit all tidy by using it regularly, me every two or three days and her about once a week or two. And I'm not talking about the bushy area up front, oh no, we go all the way 'round John's barn with the device, me even my cheeks if I'm in the mood. If done that regularly the bumps seem to be minimal with our type of hair down there. Dr. Evil states it well when he talks of having his balls ritualistically shorn - there ain't nothin' else like it! And I LOVE it. Even the occasional nick when I'm doing it heals up quickly.

I have friends who have the home laser thing and swear by it, him from head to toe he does it, and have experienced the diminished need for doing it since the hairs do get lighter and lighter in their experience. The thought of plucking every hair makes me cringe! I got my lady to pluck just the white hairs on my chest (I grow about a dozen of those fuckers every month or two) yesterday and ooooh that gets my attention! Doing that on my balls and up the shaft - there is no damned way that can't be ugly hurty! You pluckers have my respect. Depilatory creams seem unpleasant on those sensitive places to me but more power to you. My honey used to see a waxer when we first met, seeing my enthusiasm for her bald mound, but since we moved her here to Virginia she's not found anyone she's comfortable with doing that touchy work yet. I'm happy to do what I can to keep her happy honeypot smooth, with the added benefit of when I'm doing an utterly close inspection along the way, the close proximity of my face often puts us in an amorous mood. Go figure that!

I did buy a home waxing kit a long time ago and tried it -- once. The ritual of making myself soft down under is now a joy for me to maintain all by itself. And at our nude resort, tidy down there is the preferred look for the last few years.

Having carried on here about the smooth look that is quite pervasive nowadays in the nude community, it has almost become a treat to have a lady visitor who leaves it hairy come to visit the pool deck and show off her lower mane. Why not - part of the beauty of the female form lies in the variety. Not to be a jerk about it but I'll leave it to the ladies in the house to comment on the male hairy baries out there (of which there seem to be very few following this thread, if any). With the topic we're on I doubt there will be too much said here on the strong desire for hirsute, though I welcome it.

Wax and blade for me. Pre covid I'd got into a habit of regular waxing for about 18 months and was starting to notice thinner growth. Now it's more of a mixture, waxing with the odd shave here and there which I know isn't great but needs must! Nothing gets things as smooth as a wax but it can be annoying having to wait that last week till the appointment! New hairs that grow after waxing are so much softer tho.

I really enjoy waxing. I enjoy the time spent with the person doing the waxing. I enjoy the super smooth after.

Blade is easiest but if not too overgrown the chemical if you don't leave it on too long leaves a more smooth and lasts longer. Love to organize a shaving event where male, females all get together and shave using their pick and then compare - be a great group experience I think and help solve the question of which leaves one the most smooth. AustinJohn PS let me know if some ever would do that anywhere near Austin TX.
