Sleeping Naked
Return to DiscussionsI was indoctrinated into the world of 'nude sleeping' at a young age. My parents shipped me off at the age of nine to live with my Uncle in Kentucky (supposedly... I was a difficult child. Too much for them). My Uncle was an absolute, all-the-time, beautiful nudist. When I arrived, he took me upstairs to his bedroom and helped me unpack my simple suitcase of everything I owned. As he went through my clothes, he took the pajamas and tossed them in the garbage. He told me I won't need them anymore. He said from now on, we'll be sleeping naked. From that moment to now, I've never slept in anything.
I'm another of those that came to sleeping naked later in life, I was in my mid 30's the first time that I tried it. My father used to sleep naked but I never felt that I had to follow his example and sleep naked too. I always thought that naked sleeping was something other people did, not me and nor did I feel that I wanted to try. I always wore something at least boxers, but usually a tee and boxers or PJ's. In the summer I just slept on top of the covers in boxers. Then one freezing cold January night about 15 years ago, I was undressing for bed and just jumped in, naked. In very little time I was toasty warm and couldn't be bothered to get up and put something on. One night became two, then three then a week, a month and before I knew it I was a naked sleeper. Since then I've been naked in bed ever since all bar a stay in hospital.
