Irritation after shaving?

Return to Discussions

If you have sensitive skin (talking pubic area here), and are prone to irritation after shaving, may I suggest a few tips.
Leave three or four days between shaves to let the bristles soften.
Never use SOAP! It is just not good for your skin. Use shampoo or shower gel (shaving in the shower means you can shampoo your hair and use the lather for shaving).
Shave with a new blade every time, (triple bade is better than a single).
Shave against the direction of growth for a close shave.
Rinse off (shaving in the shower saves time and mess).
Apply liquid witch hazel (a natural astringent) before applying after shave lotion.
Smooth in post-shave moisturiser.
If you can, lie out in the sunshine naked for half an hour, to heal and tone your skin. Smile!

Good tips. Definitely stay naked after shaving, even if there is no sun to go and lie out in. Its best not to do it just before going out into the clothed world, give your skin time to settle after a shave without material rubbing against it.

Dont shave at all. Use Veet hair removal cream you get no rashes no in growing hair, and lasts for about 7 days, after a while your skin gets used to it and looks so smooth and hair free, take a look at my pics for evidence

Post pube shave, sprinkle a healthy dose of baby powder on your cock. Helps reduce irritation, and it feels nice.

I like the previous tips on procedure. For after care I generally use aloe vera lotion. Gently rub it over all the newly shave area and let it be absorbed before submitting to textiles later.
