Return to DiscussionsI shave my wife regularly and I have been getting waxed for the last 3 years. I think we'd both prefer laser treatments but the cost has kept us from doing so. My wife tried waxing once and it hurt her enough she's not wanted to try it again but I keep trying to get her to go with me. She says she prefers being smooth all the time and with waxing, you have to let the hair grow out and she doesn't like that part of the prep.
We shaved smooth for probably 30+ years before I decided to go to waxing. I've been shaving my wife for over 44 years. She's gone from small V, to landing strip to a tiny patch and about 30+ years ago, emerged from the shower completely smooth and has been like that since. Smooth before the models were doing it in Playboy and Penthouse. ;-)

Wife stays smooth as well and do her shaving, gotta love it. I've thought about waxing just not sure it fits my schedule and budget. I've had some red bumps and irritation down below but from everything I'm reading that will pass with repeated shaving. I love being smooth the look the feel everything.
