RE: Open House

I hate you feel that way but the Creek DOES honor their vets. We have quite a few that are members and always have special services for them. As far as TNS membership yes they do recognize that organization.

RE: Open House

I'm heading down to Jackson in September and hoping to make a stop at Cedar Creek prior to reporting for duty. I'm sure I'll be very welcome there, with or without a discount. And there's that word: Discount. As a Vet, and current member of the armed forces, I do not expect people to give of themselves a "GIFT" to those who serve, whether it be accommodations, a gratuitous rate, or even just a thank you. I never want to be discounted for anything that I do for my country.
Gifts and tokens of appreciation should NEVER be expected, especially for a voluntary job. They are to be appreciated when received. That is the long and short of it. Doesn't make anyone or any organization LESS grateful for their freedom to choose what they do or how they honor vets. To piss and moan because not everyone will bestow this gift upon you for what you chose to do is in line with the behavior of a two year old.
I, for one, am grateful to serve and give of myself voluntarily and freely to protect this country and defend and respect the rights of any individual to make their own choices. (kinda falls in line with nudism values too, eh?)
