Return to DiscussionsI spent the late afternoon/early evening as Spa World one day this week. I got there about 2:30 and met one friend who was getting dressed as I was arriving. I met up with a couple of friends in the bade pool who were already there. I left about 6:30.
A few things to note:
-As expected mid-week, it was not too busy.
-There were a couple of guys with suit, but it was a nearly 100% naked crowd.
-The bade pool was 95 degrees. It's been around that pretty consistently the last few times I've been there. I'm guessing that's the new normal temp, down from 97 in times past. It always surprises me as just how much of a difference a degree or two makes.
-The sauna crowd was there. It was regularly full with the serious sweaters so I didn't get in it this time.
I don't have any specific plans to return in the immediate future, but I have a Groupon with a January expiration date so that will give me an excuse to make the drive.
Like I need an excuse ;-).
