I was at Spa World from opening until a little after 11 a.m. on Wednesday (12/27/23). For the first two hours, everyone I saw in the bade pool area was nude. Sometime after 10, there were two different guys who were suited.

But shortly before I left, there was a multi-generational family of four (dad/young boys/grandpa?) who came in suited. They treated the space like the splash pad at the rec center rather than a spa --- lots of screaming and running from pool to pool. Talk about adventures in missing the point! I don't know if anyone complained or if the staff did anything as this all started when I was planning to leave anyway. The staff had addressed a different dad who was there with youngsters (all nude/swim diaper) saying that the kids were too sort to be in the bade pool so I know they were willing to address issues. Hopefully, things were taken care of and the spa vibe returned shortly thereafter.

The two dads and their young kids only stayed about 45 minutes in the spa area. I think they were a little too young for the spa. Of course they acted like kids their age as expected. Later some older kids came in with their dads. They were well behaved and quiet. Due to the holiday week, the spa got quite crowded later in the morning. I still had a nice relaxing time.

I'm glad things settled down. I was less concerned about the kids and more about the parents encouraging the behaviors. Parent/Grand roughhousing with the young ones doesn't help teach public behavior skills. I expected the place to fill up and was glad that it took quite a while to do so. Getting there right when things open was a nice way to start the day.
