Stealthy Nudists

This is a group for those who don't have the necessary privacy, to practice nudism at home. Join and discuss how you privatized an area of the outdoors outdoorsy home to be nude. Open back yard, close neighbors, city homes, decks in full view of the street..

Has anybody tried window film for extra privacy? I don't want to obstruct my view, but I want to add some privacy at night when the interior lights are on.

Thanks,
Laker

RE:Window Film

I don't think it will help. Most films block people in the lighted area from seeing into the darker area, and allow the people in the dark to see out into the light. That's the opposite of what you want for night-time. It will help in the daytime, though.

Unfortunately, I think physics is against you on this one.

You could try covering the lower portions of your windows with a non-transparent or frosted film. It would still allow light in and you would be able to see over the top of it.

I'm shortly to move into a place with one public window at the front. I'm considering putting in half-curtains on the lower half of the window to block the view to the inside while still giving me a good view outside and good light.

I've considered that, however, I'm not sure my dog would ever forgive me. His favorite spot is the window sill watching the world go by.

There's something about a Great Dane laying on the bow window .

When we were living in Arizona we livid in a apartment and needed privacy to be home nudist and we went with frosted look we did try the mirror look but yes you can see inside at night but the frosted just have a siluet view. It worked for us and was easy to remove the film.

If it's a bow window the curtains can go from window edge straight to window edge, leaving an open area beyond the curtain for the dog to lay out & watch. Let the dog be nude in front of curtains while you are nude behind them.

I have sheen curtains in the front and may show silhouette during day and a little more at night.
Back deck patio door is 7 feet above ground so someone would have to trespass and make an effort to look in.
doesn't bother me.
I believe if they just sit there and watch is called, "peeping tom" .

if they want to look I don't mind.
