Texas Nudists

All things Nude in Texas, everything's bigger and better in the lone star state!

I went to Wildwood a few weeks ago, and I don't think the staff was overly helpful. They said it was a big place, but I only saw a small portion of it, and I was scolded for just trying to drive around a small part of it to see what the place looked like. Also, I asked about trails for hiking, and they didn't point them out to me. They seemed to be having an ongoing dispute with AANR, at least, too.
If you've been to Wildwood, please message me, so I can draw from your experiences and impressions of the place.

RE: Wildwood

We have been to Wildwood Resort once. We met some friends there and it was their first time too...We really liked the place. The facilities were nice and they did have a lot of space. Plus we stayed in a cabin which had been remodeled and was clean and comfortable. They trails we walked were big and wound through some lovely trees and fields.Overall, Our friends and us were impressed with the resort. Although my wife and I still like Bluebonnet better.

Lol, we went to Wildwood with the above writer last year. We also stayed in the cabins, visited some nice folks , used the trails a lot, and had a great time.we haven't been to Bluebonnet, so we can't compare the two. My wife and I went to Oak Lake Trails in Oklahoma, and we enjoyed that one , too.

I was there last year in August. The staff was quite helpful since it was my first time there. I was not able to do much walking around due to my leg problems and a cane. However, the people I met were very friendly. I plan to return since I didn't stay long enough to suit me...it was a long drive from south Ft Worth and well worth it.

Jim sorry to read you had a bad experience at Wildwood and it can happen anywhere. Myself, and with wife, venture out to a few resorts and we find most are very helpful and friendly, from the staff, members and visitors enjoying the facility. We also look at the facilities and some are lot better than others, but we still have not had a bad experience at any resort.

We are members of Wildwood, wife was very comfortable there over the two other nudist resorts around the DFW area. Regarding the trails, there are maps of them on the racks by the entrance/office area. Not sure if that was there 3 years ago when you visited. That was the first thing that was pointed out to me when I first went to Wildwood. I've driven around Wildwood, both before and after becoming a member and was never told not to do so. Both lady staff members have never been rude though I've never 'broken' the rules or that they know of.. LOL

Hopefully, you'll experience better visits to other resorts and if you ever get back to Wildwood, you contact me and will get to the trails!
