The Innocence Of Nudity In History

The purpose of this group is to create a gallery of photos and art as a throwback to a simpler time when nudity and the human body were accepted in society and appreciated rather than demonized. A place where the innocence of the naked human form was considered as a normal part of society and not shunned or condemned. This is not a group for you to post your personal pictures unless they are...

A new batch of media has been added.

I hope those of you who have joined this group are enjoying the Vintage photos and artwork.

There were many uploads that were rejected by TN.
They were of children in a true state of innocence enjoying their naked freedom.

Unfortunately, in this day and age, the screeners had to do their part in censorship due to the pedophilia stigmatism in society today.

Some of the pictures were adorably cute and represented the theme of the group but had to be rejected for the simple fact that the images were of minors, even when they were cartoons. A disappointment, but one that is understood.

Please feel free to upload to the media, please be sure to only send images that contribute to the spirit of "Vintage and Innocence"

Thanks,

FreeLee

Thanks for the update. The nude children aspect is difficult in the sense that the child cant consent to having their images shared on the internet. As some have stated on TN who have raised their children as nudist, as they aged, they decided that nudity was not for them. If photos are on the wed and one of their friends find it, that could make for even more negative banter.

Family pictures should be OK, where children are accompanied by adults.

Unfortunately, its against policy to post pictures of minors but I understand the necessity.

I read the Dear Abby article. In short, a mom was taken a back when seeing the boys, including her teenage sons swimming nude in a lake. Abby told her that it was a normal because boys dont need the same degree of modesty as girls.

It reminded me of a policy I learned about when on a tour in DC. The guide said that women were not allowed to climb the stairs to the top of the Washington monument because there delicate bodies could not take the strain.

Men and women can both be aroused by seeing a nude body. As evident by the mom in the article commenting on the 19 year old boys cut body.

The womens equality movement and title nine has helped us see women as equals in mind body and spirit. My wife is somewhat of a premadonna and does not like to sweat out her hair so sports is not her thing but I have played a lot of basketball and tennis with with women and they are equally motivated to beat us/me. We may go easy at first but once you determine that they can play, then you usually have to up your game to try and catch up.

I am glad we dont think that way any longer.

I love all the vintage media posted. It reminds me of the true innocence of nudism. Good job!

These old vintage photos are simply priceless. Although I fondly remember nude YMCA swim classes, I never was involved in the co-ed classes. Can you imagine the uproar today with that practice. I'll bet those boys and girls had a much more mature attitude about body acceptance then than the youth of today. For that matter the same could be said for the parents.
