Return to DiscussionsWhile it's fine for older people to be nudists, young people seem to think it's only for old perverts. Seeing that young people enjoy it without perverts overwhelming them is important for attracting new, young people. It can help younger nudists such as myself to find love.
I agree Robert. Age discrimination should not be allowed or even encouraged within the True Nudists community. Who said a group called 'Young Nudist Friends' should only be for young nudists? Shouldn't it be for those who like to have young nudists as friends, whatever their own age might be? Shame on all you ageists. You too will be older one day, then I bet your tune will have changed, and you will not not wish to be treated the way you are currently treating older people.
This is a difficult issue, because there are competing goals, one being friendly and not discriminating on the basis of age, and two being future oriented with young people's needs at heart.
One needs to understand both sides, and both have been mentioned here: Ageism vs. attracting a group of young people who do not feel threatened by pervs.
I myself try to bring together young people for the sake of a bright naturist future. Should I lock myself out due to my age (preventive self-ageism)?

The clubs that I know have older nudists who grew up from a younger age, but some how no longer want new younger members, only similar aged people.
It's off putting to get into, but would be interesting to see younger people setting up business ventures into nudism to promote the younger generations and cater for them. Facilities that are accessible rather than loungers and chairs, not everyone wants to sit around all the time !
Interesting when the group mod who started this topic, has the same photo on other sites so most likely a fake profile of a older male who is looking for younger people. I have mailed this mod asking for a photo to prove she? is a real person and s/he has been on this site sense then and I have not had a reply, and also I have contacted the other mod belgianguy over this and he thinks I could be right.
If a group wants to be set Private I hope all the members are checked out and the fake members are removed even if a mod.
