## Frequently asked questions

### What is True Nudists?

True Nudists is a social network for nudists and naturists, founded in 2007. Members use it to meet like-minded people, find nude beaches and naturist resorts , join groups and events, and share the clothes-free lifestyle with a worldwide community.

### Is True Nudists free?

Yes — creating a profile, browsing members, and joining the community are free. You can sign up and start exploring in minutes.

### Who uses True Nudists?

Adults from every walk of life: lifelong naturists, resort regulars, beach-day enthusiasts, and people trying the lifestyle for the first time. What they share is the belief that social nudity is natural, non-sexual, and freeing.

### Is True Nudists safe and private?

Yes. Every uploaded photo and video is reviewed by our moderation team before it is published, profiles are verified, and privacy controls let you decide what others can see. You never have to share more than you're comfortable with, and report tools put a moderator one click away.

### How does photo verification work?

Our moderation team reviews member photos before they appear on the site, and verified members earn a badge on their profile. Verification keeps the community genuine — real nudists, not fakes or stolen photos.

### How do I find nude beaches near me?

Browse the locations directory — a member-built guide to nude beaches, FKK resorts, naturist campgrounds, and clothing-optional destinations worldwide. Search by region to find spots near you, complete with practical details and honest member reviews.

### What does FKK mean?

FKK stands for Freikörperkultur — German for "free body culture" — and it is the everyday word for nudism across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and much of central Europe. An FKK beach , FKK strand, or FKK resort is simply a nude beach or naturist resort. If you are browsing European locations , FKK is the sign you are looking for.

### What is a textile beach?

Textile is the word nudists use for "clothed". A textile beach is an ordinary swimsuit beach, and textile-optional or clothing-optional means both are welcome. Many nude beaches sit alongside a textile stretch, so our location listings tell you where the nude section actually starts — no awkward guesswork when you arrive.

### Is a nude beach the same as a clothing-optional beach?

Not quite. On a fully nude beach, being undressed is the norm and often expected. Clothing-optional means you choose — some visitors are nude, some stay textile. Both are listed in our beach and resort directory , and each listing says which it is, so you know what to expect before you go.

### What are the photo rules?

Nudity is welcome — that's the point — but content must be non-sexual, respectful, and yours. True Nudists is a naturist community, not an adult site; sexual content belongs on trueswingers.com. Every upload is reviewed by moderators before it appears.
