Baker Beach has beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge, easily accessible in San Francisco. Stay in the nude section north of the Hazardous Surf sign, or the rangers may cite you. If you are thinking about Baker beach? I was told it is no longer just a nudist beach. I was there about three weeks ago and out of about 1000 people there was ONE nude guy! The rest were all dressed! Looking myself! Seems you have to be an outlaw in Cali these days to go to the beach! Other than that its those Pricey clubs!!!

Welcome to the area! Baker Beach is still a clothing optional beach. When its a nice clear and warm day out (many foggy days), there is a group of nudists, couples and singles that frequent here. Its worth a visit as its also just a beautiful view of the Golden Gate.

North of San Francisco there is Muir Beach, with the clothing optional part to the north beyond the boulders. Its a smaller crowd but really nice as well.

Hope you have fun exploring!

Check out the Yuba River close to Nevada City. Hoyt's Crossing, Purdon's Crossing, and Edward's Crossing all are visited by nudists. It's also really fun to hike nude up the river on the boulders.

It's nude at the northernmost end of the beach. Go all the way to the right until you hit the cliff. There's usually plenty of naked people at that end. On cold days you might find one or two guys braving the chill naked.

To a certain extent TrueVoyeur is right that there is a bigger population of textiles at Baker and is screwy, I went there in May; I have gone there since 92 and it was surprising to me to see as many as I did in the usual nude end of the beach (northernmost part). It might have had to do with COVID19 (lots of people STILL wearing masks) but I could be wrong as well. During the week the crowds aren't so big but there are STILL nudists there no matter what.

Red Rock in Marin near Stinson is absolutely the best spot in the Nor Cal area that I have been to. It is tight and can be rocky but the last couple of years there has been a ton of sand deposited there so its not so bad after all. If you can handle rocks and know how to get around the tide on the other side of the north end of the beach there is a part that is rocky but is discreet and will give you privacy. Muir Beach is small, so is the crowd, but the water is nice and you can wade out quite a bit. Marshall's Beach in SF near Baker is the same--a ton of sand deposited recently made it very smooth compared to a couple of years ago when it was rockier than ....

Hope this helps.
