First time here next weekend!

Return to Discussions

My wife and I are planning to camp out here next weekend, weather permitting. I see a few reviews but nothing too substantial as far as what to expect. I see the owners have updated their web page but do not have the rules posted.

This will be our first social experience as a couple. We've camped where we can be comfortably nude without looking over our shoulder or keeping clothing or a towel nearby. The UP of Michigan offers a lot of cabins to rent that are secluded enough to really not worry about the condemning eyes that may peer upon us. Locally, we may get a quick freehike in but have almost been busted once, leading to a more conservative approach to freehiking locally. So, the thought of going to a place where we have no worries excites us.

I've had other social experiences, when I wore a younger man's skin (See what I did there?), so this is not totally new to me. I will probably feel a tad odd getting out of the car, taking off my clothing, and strutting into the office to check in like this is nothing new. The only people who have seen her adult naked body is me and her doctors. So, hopefully she'll start feeling comfortable right quick.

Regardless, what should we expect when we first arrive?

Hopefully, this will be seen by someone in the know!

Thanks in advance!

RE:First time here next weekend!

I've been to blue lakes and let me tell you, it's boring as hell. No pool and it's very cliquey. Yeah there volley ball, but honestly if your not in the clique look forward to just being on the deck.
Dont waste your money. Go somewhere else

Btw are you in iowa?
